1. Actuator. Mechanism for the translation of energy into movement for the purpose of animating parts such as mechanical limps or wheels. 2. Android. A robot that is similar to a human being. Example C3PO of Star Wars fame. 3. Artificial Intelligence. The science of imbueing machines with human-like intelligence. 4. Behaviour-based robotics (BBR). Robotic responses that is inspired by animal and natural behaviours.

Cyborg. Another word for Cybernetic Organism. 8. Force Feedback. Using sensors or a manual control device to assess the amount of force needed to be applied in response to pressure. 9. Mobot. A short term for Mobile Robot. 10. Nanobot. A nano-scaled robot. 11. Nanotechnology 12. Staybot. A stationary robot.
