This is a homemade recipe for Beetroot Cake

Beetroot Cake Recipe

Ingredients:

• 2 cup of SR flour
• 4 eggs nicely beaten
• One cup of sugar
• 225 ml of sunflower oil
• 2 piece of grated cooked beetroots
• 1 teaspoon of baking powder
• half a teaspoon of mixed spice
• half a teaspoon of grated nutmeg

Method:

1. Mix and stirr the sunflower oil, sugar and eggs together in a bowl

2. Add in the pieces of beetroot

In a separate bowl, sift all the dry ingredients together.

Mix the 2 bowls' content together. Next pour the resultant mixture into 2 suitable sized loaf tins.

Finally, bake the recipe for about 40 minutes at a temperature of 175 degree celcius.
