In this article, we will show you how make rollover buttons for free and easily without the need for graphic and programming skills. Firstly, we will need to make the images for the button. There is a free online resource that does that. It is at Glassy Buttons. Use the myriad of controls to get your desired button looks. Click on reload and save the resultant zip files onto your computer. Next unzip the images unto the directory that you are creating your webpage/website. Once all this is done, we will need to create the javascript codes. These codes will have to be inserted into the HTML codes of the webpage that you are designing. Luckily, there is a free online resource that can create the codes for you. To create the javascript code, go to Rollover Button Generator. Follow the instructions online. Click "Done!Make my script". The scripts will be created online. Lastly, we need to insert the newly created javascript codes into the HTML codes of the webpage. Copy the part between <head> to </head> onto the corresponding section of the HTML. Next insert the rest of the code (between <body> to </body>) into the relevant part of the HTML. |
