1. Having a source of drinkable water

All animals need water to live. Birds are always attracted to water sources. Having one is the best technique of attracting them to the garden. Water-dwelling birds such as ducks will be especially attracted to large source of water. Having a pond is therefore a very good method.

2. Food

Birds, like all animals are attracted to food. Having a constantly spot where you supply food to birds will attract them regularly. Please remember to place only food that are edible yo birds. This will include bird seeds and bread crump. However, different kinds of bird will have different preferences. One will need to experiment and do some research to find out.
