Nail polish is a lacquer and is often made of nitrocellulose. It can become a permanent mark on fabric if no steps are taken to remove it. The followings are step by step instructions for removing nail polish from fabrics or clothes. 

1. Get ready non-oily nail polish remover. Pour some of it on a paper towel pad made of cleaning paper.

2. Blot the stained spot using the paper towel. However, blot it from the back of the spot where the nail polish is on the fabric. The towel should starts to dissolve and absorb the nail polish.

3. Change a new towel that has been applied with the nail remover. Blot the spot from the back again. Repeat this process until no more colours can be absorb by the towel.

4. Rinse the fabric in cool water. Launder the item after that
