The bush hut is one of the easiest type of hut to construct. To build one, firstly we must look for a suitable bush. An ideal bush must have long and flexible stems or branches. It must also have thick foliage.

To build it, simple bend the stems and branches into an arch shape and secure the ends of the stems onto the ground. You can do so by attaching the stems to ropes that are secured to the ground via pegs. Be careful and try not to break the branches. This should form the basic structural framework for the hut. The shelter will eventually be the area below the arches. Have access to some form of securing tools such as rope or nylon cords. We need this to bind parts of the structure more easily. Cutting equipments are also required to cut branches, leaves and the rope or nylon cord.

Next, weave the smaller branches and leaves around the main archs. Weave it in such as why that rain water and wind will not easily sip through the shelter that is forming beneath the arch. The type of leaves and foliage used is crucial for preventing the sip of water in the shelter.
